Family | The Halls'

We're halfway through the week and I'm super excited to share this family session with you. These were taken a few weeks ago in a sunny park in Rozelle, and boy it was lovely.

My business is slowly growing and it makes me so excited and proud, but you know what is even greater? The smiling faces of my clients. There's no greater feeling.

Or if you're interested in booking a session with me or buying a voucher for a friend/family member, please send me an email over at samanthaheatherphotography(at)gmail(dot)com. I would love to work with you :)

I hope you're all having a wonderful week. What have you been up to?

  4. It must be difficult taking photographs of such young children sometimes. Getting them to act natural, and capturing "the moments" but you make it seem so easy (which trust me, is a massive compliment).

  5. These photos are really good Sam! You're talent is impeccable! The smiles on all of their faces are really genuine, sincere and kind of contagious which is a really good thing. Great job!

  7. STUNNING PHOTOS. Seriously, every time I hop over to your blog I am amazed by your natural talent. I wish you lived closer because I would hire you for a portrait session or just to learn some tips from you in general!

I know people probably ask you this alllll the time, but I've been looking for another lens for my camera (Canon 60D) and was wondering if you had any recommendations. I have the 50mm/1.8 lens and would love to invest in another fixed lens to add to my collection (it's seen better days!). Thanks in advance! :)

    1. I have the Sigma lens 35mm f/1.4 - it's amazing. Seriously you have to buy it, it's also a lot cheaper than Canon and in my opinion just as awesome!

    2. I've heard good things about Sigma lenses and was actually thinking about buying one someday--I've been debating between a 35mm, 50mm/1.4, or an 85mm. I'm loving the photos you take, though, so I'll have to reconsider the 35mm! Thanks for sharing!

  8. These are gorgeous! Nice job :) The lighting is beautiful and I'm sure you did this lovely family justice capturing so many happy and natural moments. Is this Callan Park by any chance?! If so, coolest place ever. I spent many a Saturday afternoon wandering through here. You should definitely take yourself on a wander - there are so many nooks and crannies to explore, different landscapes and all sorts of cool things!
